Elmich’s Challenge in Enhancing Customer Experience

In the competitive home appliance market, Elmich needed more innovative and sophisticated campaigns to reach consumers, enhance brand awareness, and secure a strong position in their hearts.

Elmich previously partnered with The Master Channel to run a gift distribution campaign in November 2024 at a shopping mall—one of the key locations to attract and connect with potential customers. The campaign not only enabled Elmich to capture customer information, control gift distribution, and measure PG (Promotional Girls) performance, but also helped grow Elmich’s Zalo OA followers by nearly 120%, opening opportunities for long-term customer engagement at an optimal cost.

Recognizing the crucial role of data in the digital era, Elmich understands that the information collected is the key to unlocking more effective marketing strategies in the future. Continuing its collaboration with The Master Channel, Elmich aims to enhance customer experiences and strengthen brand awareness through creative and unique gift-giving campaigns.

Gift Distribution Solution on The Master Channel

From May 17 to May 25, Elmich hosted the “Elmich Summer – Chill in Style” event at the main hall of AEON MALL Long Biên, offering a fun playground for families on weekends with many engaging activities. This was not only a recreational space but also an opportunity for Elmich to collect potential customers’ identifiable data, serving its plan for long-term customer interaction and care.

The event went beyond commercial goals, reflecting Elmich’s mission for families and consumers, with the desire to improve quality of life through meaningful products and experiences.

To attract participants, Elmich combined O2O (Online-to-Offline) touchpoints through online posts and on-site POSM, amplifying its message to reach a broader audience.

Customer Journey to Register via Elmich’s Zalo Mini App

After scanning a QR code, customers filled in their details (with name and phone number auto-filled). This automation feature of the Zalo Mini App minimized input errors and optimized the registration journey.

Upon successful registration, customers received a QR code for gift redemption along with a UID confirmation message sent from Elmich’s Zalo OA. Compared to SMS, UID messages offered cost-efficiency and a more appealing interface, delivering a personalized and engaging interaction.

Customers then presented their QR code to PGs at the gift booth to receive their Elmich gift. Each QR code was unique, helping PGs easily control the quantity of gifts distributed to the right recipients.

The Master Channel Scan Helps PGs Distribute Rewards Quickly

In addition to providing convenience and speed for customers, The Master Channel’s solution streamlined PGs’ sample distribution process through an integrated QR code scanning flow on the Zalo Mini App:

Upon receiving a customer’s QR code, PGs used the Zalo camera to scan and confirm successful gift redemption.

With just a few simple steps on a single platform—without downloading extra apps—Elmich’s PGs could quickly assist customers and record their daily performance.

  • Measure campaign effectiveness: Businesses received real-time reports showing registration numbers, gift/sample redemption rates, and more—enabling better control over distribution and accurate evaluation of campaign performance for future optimization.
  • Grow Zalo OA followers and customer data: Online registration enabled easy customer data capture and verification through Zalo, replacing manual or paper-based methods. This allowed for re-engagement, personalized campaigns, and building stronger brand affinity.

One of the key advantages of distributing gifts/samples via The Master Channel is the ability to integrate with other automated engagement scenarios—such as customer surveys, product information sharing, and personalized messages—enhancing the overall experience. Insights into customer preferences and behaviors allow brands to adjust products and increase the likelihood of converting sample recipients into loyal customers.

Results

After more than a week of running the gift distribution campaign with The Master Channel’s solution—supported by the brand team—Elmich achieved impressive results:

Over 10,000 gift vouchers distributed

More than 10,000 vouchers were handed out, reflecting strong interest and campaign effectiveness.

PG efficiency at activation points increased by 97%

Thanks to Zalo’s automated data recording, the campaign optimized PG performance, improving both customer experience and gift distribution efficiency.

Gift redemption rate reached 99%

The seamless flow—from QR scanning and auto-filled registration to receiving the redemption QR via Zalo OA—created a smooth and engaging customer experience, leading to a 99% redemption rate and enthusiastic participation.
